1. Description:
Nylon casters are reinforced with fiberglass for increased load-carrying capacity and reduced friction when rolling. Nylon casters are lightweight and have a load-bearing capacity comparable to most metal wheels. They do not form flat places. In wet and corrosive applications where chemical resistance and higher load capacity are required, nylon casters are a better choice.
Solid Nylon Casters are virgin nylon, fully tuned for maximum strength in industrial saunas. Nylon casters are durable, easy-to-maintain wheels with low rolling resistance and high abrasion resistance compared to rubber wheels of the same size.
Rigid Casters: Rigid casters are casters that stay in one position. They don't swivel like swivel casters. Rigid casters give you great stability, but don't give you the mobility advantages that swivel casters give you. For best results, most customers will use a combination of swivel casters and rigid casters, which give them the best combination of stability and maneuverability.
